MAHJONG POLICY
The RGC Mahjong Collective has witnessed enthusiastic participation from members, and with the addition of a second Mahjong table, we are delighted to accommodate up to eight players at a time.
To ensure a pleasant, fair, and enjoyable experience for all, members are requested to observe the following guidelines:
RESERVATIONS
- Table reservations are required and will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Each table accommodates four players.
- Members may reserve a seat individually or as part of a group.

PLAYING HOURS
- Mahjong tables are available seven days a week during Club operating hours.
- Reservations are subject to table availability.
- To ensure fair access to all members, each booking shall ordinarily be limited to two hours.
ELIGIBILITY
- Mahjong facilities are strictly and exclusively for RGC members and eligible dependents aged 18 years and above.
ATTENDANCE & CANCELLATIONS
- Members are requested to arrive punctually for their reserved session.
- Reservations not claimed within 15 minutes of the scheduled time may be released to other members.
- If unable to attend, members are requested to cancel their booking at the earliest so that the table may be offered to others.
TABLE ETIQUETTE
- Mahjong is best enjoyed in a spirit of friendship, sportsmanship and mutual respect.
- Players are requested to maintain a courteous atmosphere and be mindful of fellow members using nearby facilities.
- At the conclusion of play, tables should be left neat and ready for the next group.
CARE OF EQUIPMENT
- Mahjong tiles, racks, dice, mats and accessories are Club property and should be handled with care.
- Members are requested to ensure that all pieces are accounted for before leaving the table.
- Food and beverages should be placed away from the playing area wherever possible.
LOSS OR DAMAGE
- Any loss or damage to Mahjong equipment should be reported immediately to the Club Reception.
- Where loss or damage is attributable to negligence, the member concerned may be required to bear the replacement cost as determined by the Club.
ADMINISTRATION
- The Club reserves the right to modify these guidelines from time to time in the interest of efficient management and member convenience.
